Cinnamon Cake

This Cinnamon Cake is just soooo yummy.  It’s moist, soft and very tasty.  It smells so good too! This will be perfect for breakfast, dessert or just a snack.  Best to eat warm.


  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp.salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1  1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 5 tbsp. milk
  • 1  tsp. vanilla


  1. Mix the cinnamon cake ingredients together except for the butter. Slowly stir in the melted butter and pour into a greased 9×13 pan.
  2. For the topping, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Drop evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
  3. Combine the ingredients for the glaze.  If you have a pastry bag, put the filling in that and squeeze onto the cake.  If no pastry bag, just cut the corner out of a plastic bag or ziploc bag.  While still warm, drizzle the glaze over the cake.  Let it stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
